As a leading B2B SaaS company, RingCentral developed this B2C campaign to drive engagement in its referral program.
Context
RingCentral created the External Referral Campaign to boost participation in its referral program by offering attractive rewards and a streamlined process. The B2C campaign’s Summer Social Giveaway offered exciting prizes; cash, a PlayStation 4 Pro bundle, and a Summer Fun Pack, incentivizing multiple referrals and social posts. This approach significantly increased user engagement and new sign-ups, expanding RingCentral’s consumer reach.
The Problem
The existing referral program needed more engagement to drive significant user participation. The challenge was to create a campaign that would capture attention, align with the summer theme, and entice users to share referrals while actively communicating the rewards.
The Solution
I developed nine unique design concepts using the copy provided by the internal writer. These included painting toys as props for a photo shoot and creating illustrations that reflected the playful, vibrant summer theme. I designed a detailed wireframe and layout for the email landing page to ensure cohesive messaging and easy navigation. Responsive design principles were applied to make the landing page accessible across devices, and the graphics were provided to the web developer for implementation using Swoogo. The campaign's visuals and rewards successfully encouraged participation, resulting in a 15% rise in new user sign-ups through referrals.
